Clerk vacancy
Due to the retirement of our dedicated, long-serving clerk, we are looking to appoint someone to the role for 2 hours per week (flexible). We are seeking someone who can provide high-quality clerking support to our Local Governing Board (LGB). Attendance and minuting will be required at pre-agreed meeting times (within the working day – usually at 10am/ 3:30pm)
Twineham is a small, rural school close to the A23 not far from Hurstpierpoint, Henfield and Burgess Hill, in a beautiful site by St Peter’s Church. We have a happy, supportive team of staff and pride ourselves in our nurturing, supportive environment, where we know every child as an individual.
We are proud of our Christian ethos and our values of Nurture, Togetherness, Resilience and Creativity – we believe that everyone is a gift and everyone is gifted. Our wonderful children are enthusiastic and keen to learn. We enjoy working closely together with our highly supportive parents and Governors.
Visits to the school are warmly invited. Please email Sarah Davy (Headteacher) at sdavy@twineham.w-sussex.sch.uk to arrange a tour of the school or Julia Pattenden (Chair of Governors) jpattenden@twineham.w-sussex.sch.uk to discuss the role; we look forward to welcoming you.
