Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver high-quality Computing lessons to students in Years 7-13, adhering to the national curriculum and exam specifications. • Inspire students to problem solve and create creative solutions to complex problems. • Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their personal and academic goals. • Foster a classroom environment based on mutual respect, inclusivity, and a love of learning. • Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives. • Contribute to the wider life of the school community through extracurricular activities or pastoral support. The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join our outstanding teaching team. You are likely to teach students from year 7 to 13. You would not be expected to teach every course we offer, allowing you to focus on specific courses and become a specialist in the areas which interest you. We have a comprehensive set of schemes of work, but with the flexibility to adapt to develop further. We are looking for a team player who will help us to develop and shape the next phase of our journey to excellence.
