We are looking for an enthusiastic and interactive Class Teacher to join our supportive and collaborative team. As the Class Teacher you will plan and deliver engaging learning on a daily basis, developing exciting and innovative methods that stimulate interest and excitement in the classroom. Successful candidates will have an excellent understanding of the primary curriculum, a proven record of highly effective teaching in upper KS2 and can facilitate learning to demonstrate accelerated progress. All teachers are welcome to apply including those on the upper pay scale (UPS). A temporary TLR may be available for becoming one of Teaching & Learning Leads (phase leadership & core subject leadership) in our school. The ideal Class Teacher will need to: * Understand the principles and practices associated with instructional teaching; * Be an exceptional teacher who is confident to lead your class as the knowledgeable expert in the room; * Have a strong belief that knowledge brings choice and that choice brings freedom; * Have a desire to improve the lives of young people; * Work well as a team member and have strong interpersonal skills; * Have extremely high and consistent expectations of pupil behaviour.
