Permanent and Temporary roles available
Full time
Grade 6 (Sp Point 9 to 12) FTE salary £26,409 to £27,711 (Actual Salary £19,539 to £20,502)
Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch)
Required from: September 2025
Line manager: Teacher in Charge of the SSC

We are looking to appoint experienced, enthusiastic and nurturing special support assistants to join the dedicated team in our Special Support Centre. This role involves supporting the educational and social development of pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Social Communication Difficulties, to integrate into mainstream classes from the SSC when appropriate.
The successful applicant will have:
• Minimum level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Experience of working with children with special educational needs
• A passion for learning
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Ability to motivate, engage and enthuse children
