| We are looking for a Lead Teacher who is:
• To play the leading role in the leadership and management of PE and OAA across the college • Take the lead strategic role in PE/OAA improvement and a leading role in the development of the skills and impact of all staff • Lead and manage the PE team and all those who support PE learning • Ensure that all appropriate health, safety and safeguarding protocols are followed for PE learning • Work closely with colleagues of the Extended Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team • Able to deliver outstanding PE lessons to a range of learning needs and abilities • Engage and motivate students and staff across a range of sports disciplines • Able to deliver outdoor education and Duke of Edinburgh Award programs including residentials and expeditions • Able to plan, organise and lead team building activities for students • Committed to achieving the best for each student through a personalised learning framework • Dynamic, organised, creative and emotionally intelligent • Looking to work in a college with a positive and inclusive ethos We welcome applications from teachers with excellent special or mainstream experience in primary or secondary sector.
