SEN Primary Teacher Required (Permanent, not suitable for ECT)
Required Sept 2025 MPS + SEN allowance We are looking for a highly enthusiastic, dynamic and creative teacher to join our staff team at this exciting time in our school life. Palatine is a Primary Special School catering for the whole range of special educational and complex learning needs including PMLD, SLD, MLD and ASD and we are looking for teachers with the necessary experience to teach pupils with significant learning difficulties and complex medical needs. This is a temporary fixed term contract for one year starting in September 2024. We are seeking a teacher who: shares our values and commitment to providing the best for our pupils; has detailed knowledge of the relevant aspects of the statutory curriculum for EYFS, KS1 and KS2; understands how pupils learning is affected by their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development or is keen to learn; is an exemplary classroom practitioner; has experience of developing and successfully delivering inclusive practice to ensure equal opportunities for all; has the ability to use ICT to plan and deliver the curriculum where appropriate; has the ability to create an effective and stimulating learning environment relevant to the childrens needs; is able to work effectively in a team to ensure the smooth day to day running within the classroom keeping children safe and meeting their needs is able to liaise effectively with parents/carers, other teaching and non-teaching professionals and contribute to the wider development of the school; may not have prior experience in a Special School but who is eager to learn.
