Apprenticeships with an employer
A Government programme enabling people over 16 to learn and earn while working.
You don’t need an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) to take part in an apprenticeship.
You may find that employers also use the terms accessible apprenticeship, supported apprenticeship or inclusive apprenticeship.
An accessible apprenticeship means that employers can make changes to your support, for example your working hours or the length of your apprenticeship.
