Use the West Sussex, Brighton and Hove Careers Hub to find a local job.
For people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), it can feel difficult to decide what type of jobs interest you and which jobs you should apply for.
The Your Futures website has been designed to show you:
- different kinds of work that you might choose
- what skills you will need
- how much you might be paid
- how to find a local job

How to use the job search on Your Futures
Step 1
From the homepage, there are 21 sectors, including:
- administration - office work
- computing - technology and digital
- travel
- tourism
- hospitality
Click on one of the sectors you find interesting.
Step 2
Each sector then has its own page telling you the:
- biggest local employers in that sector
- skills that you will need
- jobs in the sector
Each job title is colour-coded to show the level of qualifications that you will need:
- Green - you won’t need any formal qualifications
- Amber - you might need some formal qualifications, depending on the employer
- Red - you will need GCSEs grades 4-9, Level 3 qualifications or a degree
Step 3
Click on a job that interests you to:
- watch a video about that job
- find more information, including typical working hours
- find out how much pay you can expect

You can find links to advertisements for that job type on local job search websites at the bottom of the page.
