What we do
- Our pupils and students come from varying educational backgrounds including mainstream education, other special schools and those who have been out of education for prolonged periods of time because of phobias and exclusions.
- The staff teams work as a cohesive multidisciplinary unit to overcome barriers to learning, provide stability, consistency and the highest quality of care, guidance and support to help the pupils make accelerated learning gains.
- Small class sizes of no more than eight are supported by experienced, skilled subject specialist teachers and teaching assistants and also a small number of residential care and social workers.
- Pupils are able to access high levels of specialist support throughout their school day, building their self confidence and experiencing academic and social success.
- We seek to ensure that by the time that our boys leave us, they emerge as self-confident individuals able to manage their own learning and behaviour, and equipped with the skills and competencies to successfully take the next steps in their lives.

Our users say
The change over the two years that he has been at Grafham Grange are so much better than we could have hoped for. We always knew that he was a wonderful caring boy, what has changed is that everyone else can now see it.
