My Sisters' House is a Women's Centre in West Sussex, operating across Arun and Chichester. With two hubs, the main one in Bognor Regis, and the second in Chichester, My Sisters' House is the only agency in West Sussex supporting women with multiple disadvantages, and offering wrap-around support, specialising in medium-risk domestic abuse cases, alongside welfare and wellbeing needs. With a mission to help women "thrive, not just survive," we provide responsive, trauma-informed support.

What we do

  • We support all self-identifying women, regardless of ethnicity, ability, religion or sexuality. We're growing at a rapid pace to meet the need in the local community, supporting 28 clients in 2015 compared to 1756 new clients in 2023.
  • Our team plays a key role in providing holistic support with 'extended casework' for both the woman and her family. Our aim is to remove barriers to support by being a dependable, non-judgemental service any woman can turn to.
  • We're proud to say that MSH acts as 'the net-beneath-the-net', being the consistent advocate for women with multiple and complex needs, in many cases when they have disengaged from statutory support.
  • If our clients engage successfully with the services offered to them, we can help break the cyclical nature of abuse, and prevent medium-risk abuse victims from getting to high-risk stage and seeking refuge.
  • Our services include: Counselling, peer groups, anxiety courses, food bank vouchers, clothing bank, Christmas Gifting, IDVA's, housing and finance support, employability support, wellbeing walks, craft sessions, Live Chat and Eastern European provision.
