Parable Dance provide dance classes for people of any age with learning disabilities. We are available to be booked to deliver anything from a one hour session to a full day and we can come to you as a one off visit or to teach a weekly class.

Parable Dance also offer training and mentoring in inclusive dance practice for teachers and artists.

What we do

  • Fun engaging creative dance sessions for children, young people and adults with learning disabilities.
  • Empowering teaching methods drawing on the ideas of the participants which supports development in communication and confidence.
  • Delivered by the Artistic Director of Parable Dance, with 20 years inclusive dance teaching experience for companies including Magpie Dance and Candoco Dance Company, plus a team of other highly experienced teachers.
  • We do not have funding in place to support your costs but would be happy to discuss a fundraising partnership to get a project in place.
  • We also offer training sessions to support school teachers and dance teachers to develop their skills in delivering dance to participants with disabilities.
