Re:Sight is a day centre in Rusper, West Sussex, that specialises in supporting adults who are visually impaired with profound learning difficulties and/or autism. We are looking to add a refreshing view to the way in which services are currently provided in West Sussex by providing a safe and pleasant environment that focuses on the individual. Our aim is to help individuals to live fulfilling, ambitious lives and to achieve their full capabilities, because everyone should be enabled to do so.

What we do

• We incorporate music, sound, smell, taste and touch into each of our workshops, we seek to give our service users experiences that allow all of their senses to come alive and work together to bring our sessions to life.
• Each workshop is carefully planned and highly versatile in nature, thereby capable of delighting a range of our most to our least verbal service users.
• By ensuring that tailored personal achievement plans are in place for each individual, and setting reasonable and achievable targets for the same, each service user can begin their journey with us safe in the knowledge that they are on a path to success.
• Our daily routine is fulfilling and structured. We can help, assist and encourage individuals to make choices and join in with our educational sessions and activities to give the individuals as much independence as possible.
• We provide specially designed and highly flexible services to suit any individual's needs with visual impairment and/or profound learning difficulties. We work with music, sound, vision, smell and taste to awaken all our senses.
