Tourettes Sussex is a local support group giving advice and support to adults and children and their families. We provide opportunities to meet other people with Tourettes and set up events and social activities. We closely with the Charity Tourettes Action to provide advice on education issues for educators and how best to support children with Tourettes in school. What we do
- Organise social events
- Offer advice and support with any issues surrounding Tourettes.
- Providing help and support to individuals and families right from before initial diagnosis through to normal everyday life.
- We offer help and advice to families regarding how best to support children in schools as well as offering training to schools on how best to support children in the classroom.
- We offer signposting to other areas which may affect the lives of people with Tourettes such as behaviour issues, counselling and other related co-morbid conditions such as ADHD, OCD, anxiety, etc.
