About
The Choice team work with children with disabilities and their families who access lower level support through Personal Budgets or Direct Payments. It also incorporates the Children's Deaf Services.
What we do
- Many families do not need social work involvement, but do require continued support in the form of a Personal Budget or Direct Payment. These families are able to use their own expertise of their child's strengths and needs to plan and manage their care.
- The Choice team offer an identified keyworker to act as point of contact and advice for families, and to review their support plan annually to ensure that it continues to meet the child's needs and those of the family.
